Dr. Linda A. Pinkus has been providing health care to resident of Chicago and the North Shore for the past 17 years and is the co-founder of the Chiropractic Arts Center of Morton Grove.
Dr. Pinkus began her medical career after obtaining her EMT certification and joining the US Navy as a hospital corpsman. Her first assignment was to provide nursing care to patients in the surgical intensive care unit at Oak Knoll Naval Hospital in Oakland, CA. She then attended Aviation Medicine School in Pensacola, FL and afterward assigned to the Naval Hospital in Naples, Italy where she was the medevac coordinator for the Southern European Region.
After leaving the Navy, Dr. Pinkus studied massage therapy in Austin, Texas and for 9 years provided specialized myofascial and neuromuscular rehabilitation to her clients who were often competitive elite athletes. She obtained her Chiropractic education at Parker University in Dallas, TX and returned to Chicago in 2000 to begin her Chiropractic career.
Always interested in continuing to learn and bring the latest therapies to her patients, Dr. Pinkus has earned 300 hours in the study of functional neurology and an additional 200 hours in the diagnosis and treatment of mild traumatic brain injury and vestibular rehabilitation.
Dr. Pinkus received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University, is trained in the Kinesiotaping Technique, has taken many nutrition related classes and is a certified Kundalini yoga instructor. She is excited and looking forward to share her knowledge and expertise with the clients of Touch Transform.
